All The Other Crap

Why Doctor Phil Is Full of Crap

It’s unfortunate that people allow themselves to be manipulated to benefit others with no apparent benefit to them. This is the case, I feel, with Doctor Phil’s infotainment. Rather than key in to hwat would benefit his “guests” the most, which is likely long-term therapy in a clinical setting, they’re vignetted, exposed and chastised for being who they are and feeling the way they do. That’s just wrong. Wrong from the standpoint of professional ethics and is elitist in the end. Pronounce upon me? Really? What school of therapy is that?

Geez.

I am a person with severe family issues. Lots of time I think about writing in to Dr.Phil because My situation seems hopeless and I don’t know any one else who would or could tackle this situation. I think thats the major reson people go to him because they just don’t know what else to do. If a Situation is so bad and Dr. Phil is an option, even though prehaps he is glorified himself to be the expert on life issues, If it were me I couldn’t pass judgement on him, just because he may rub me the wrong way, if his hand was the only one left to save me when I fall, then God bless him.

You can only save yourself and there is no compromise in that. Otherwise, you are a slave. Keep up the fine work.

  • Maybe you should think about getting some family therapy. A TV psychologist won’t help you, unless you’re looking to shed some pounds while you’re at it. His hand is likely NEVER to save you, since an hour of his speaking engagement time pulls in more than the average person makes in salary in this ocuntry in SIX MONTHS. Do yourself a favor: check the local (county) health care options if money is an issue and get started as soon as possible. It takes time to understand and cope with the complex interactions within a family unit and the sooner you start, the better .
