I see this ad every night – Sham Wow! This product is apparently a chamois cloth made in Germany. My interest in the leprechaun-ish pitchman, Vince, who exudes hucksterism, the lost great art of the high-pressure pitch.

In business, I’ve seen sales evolved from the high-pressure pitch-and-close through “conversational selling” to the soft close. This guy is a re-embodiment of the snake-oil salesmen of the last century and before.
