Nobody’s Looking, Right?
I got a “tip” on a Gawker post from this morning. The article was about a writer named Monica Gaudio who discovered one of her pieces republished in a Pennysaver-type publication called “Cook’s Source.” a print magazine given away in restaurants
The lessons here are 1) don’t steal the creative works of others, b) if you do, don’t be rude about it and iii) realize that the internet can fall on you like the sword of Damocles at any moment if you do.
