Cameron’s Formula – Avatar

I had the opportunity to see James Cameron’s Avatar this weekend.

The hype surrounding the movie was monumental. It seemed that Cameron was everywhere – Charile Rose, NPR’s Fresh Air – inescapeable

The creatures somehow reminded me of Seuss’ Grinch, though with more pleastanly blue-hued skin.

Cameron seems to have one formula: evil coprapate interests with a corp middle guy villan, two strong women, one younger, one older, some kind of conveyance, a disaster, and good triumphant over evil.

Tickets were 11:50 and because of the snow strom, the theatre was not full. 2:45 is long. 3D was interesting esp in blog.
